The Bureau of Meteorology (Onamet) reported that weather conditions in the Dominican Republic remain under the influence of a trough located south of the country.
Because these conditions are expected for the next 24 to 48 hours the occurrence of showers, isolated thunderstorms and wind gusts in much of the island, especially the Southeast, Southwest, Central Cordillera and border area, where rainfall will be increased frequency and intensity.
On the other hand, the temperatures will be welcome until the early hours of the morning and evening, as a result of the impact of the prevailing wind from the northeast.
Finally, above the valley was located on the Canal de los Vientos, moving slowly westward.
