PANAMA CITY, Panama, May 2011 - The Gym Jose "Beto" Remon shows another face now that a new floor donated by NORCECA has been installed.
Carlos Quintana, President of the Volleyball Federation of Panama said that the new surface in the temple Sport Court volleyball enable the country to submit Panama major international events.
"The new floor has better quality than the previous and athletes can afford more mobility," said Quintana. "We are very grateful to the FIVB and its president Cristobal Marte Hoffiz."
NORCECA President traveled to Panama to be present during an exhibition match as part of the inauguration of the new playing surface. He was accompanied by Marta Centeno Sajche, President of AFECAVOL.
"We continue to our grant program Sport Court floors as part of the NORCECA development, "said Mars Hoffiz. "Our goal is to provide all National Federations Level I and II floors inside or outside depending on the different cases."
The interior flooring system Sport Court, a product of Connor Sport Court International, based in Salt Lake City, offers excellent traction and shock absorption for volleyball and requires less maintenance and repair most other indoor surfaces.
